Progress Of Prelim Contents Page

This is my process of creating my prelim task college magazine contents page in Photoshop. Again, I kept to the red colour scheme as it resembles and anchors the college logo. First I inserted the mast head 'contents' and added a drop shadow to make it stand out more. Next, I added the college logo on the top left hand corner of the page to make it look more like a professional college magazine. 


I then inserted red two box shapes and again, added drop shadows to gain more of a professional look. I made the boxes slightly different shades of red to make it visually appealing.

However, Then I decided to add a third separate box under the photograph which I had previously edited and inserted. I then added my column typography using a text box and kept to a black and white colour scheme to stand out against the red and keep it simplistic.
